A customer, who we had previously carried out flooring works for to their home, got back in touch with us with intentions to replace the flooring in their bathroom using Karndean T88 with a one tile border and white design strips replicating a design board in our showroom.

A customer who we had recently supplied and fitted carpet for to several areas throughout their home, came to us with very specific ideas of what flooring she would like fitted to the bathroom in their home. During their previous visit to our showroom to look at carpets, one of our Karndean stand boards, which presents the products on a much larger scale and with a border, really caught her eye. Once we had completed the installation of the carpets they were very keen to replicate the board that they had seen in our showroom. The board showed Karndean T88 Onxy Slate from the Knight Tile range with a one tile border and white design strips between each tile. Our customer wanted to go ahead and have the works booked in as soon as possible. We were able to carry out a survey of the bathroom whilst there fitting the carpets and found the subfloor was in pretty good condition therefore only a 3mm coat of latex smoothing compound preparation was required in order to leave ready to receive the new Karndean floor covering. The product was ordered and works scheduled in at our next available opportunity.

I happened to be working from home yesterday and I was so impressed by the way they quietly got on with the task. They worked quickly and acted in a professional manner, Ellis is a great ambassador for the business, you must be very proud of him.

I apologised to Ellis that our kitchen fitter had overran so the house wasn’t in a great state, with stuff everywhere and he was very understanding and worked around him.

Today should be much easier as we’ve cleared the entire area and banned the kitchen fitter for the morning!
